PFLAG

PFLAG stands for Parents and Friends of Lesbians And Gays. They are a non-profit voluntary organisation whose members have a common goal of keeping families together. PFLAG is available to give help, support and information to families, friends of all gay people.

Wear It Purple

The annual Wear It Purple campaign is designed to highlight the prevalence of suicide among the GLBTQI community, with a special focus on gay youth. Wear it Purple has a simple message - “You have the right to be proud of who you are.” The day advocates people to wear purple to help raise social awareness of the issue.

SWISH
Swish is a gay-straight alliance that creates opportunities for all women and men to contribute their time, energy, and talents to furthering the LGBT rights movement. The hope for a world where all love is equal – where LGBT men and women have the freedom to marry, to adopt children and build strong families, and live without fear of violence, discrimination or hate.

Gay Straight Alliance Network

Gay-Straight Alliance Network (GSA Network) is a next-generation LGBTQ racial and gender justice organisation that empowers and trains queer, trans and allied youth leaders to advocate, organise, and mobilise an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities.

The Welcome Here Project supports businesses and services throughout Australia to create and promote environments that are visibly welcoming and inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) communities.

Leichhardt Women's Health Centre - Counselling

The Women Partners of Bisexual Men Service provides counselling, support and information to women partners of same sex attracted men. We also work with existing services so they can provide the best possible understanding and support to women they are working with who are in this situation. This is the only service of its kind in the world.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is the non-for-profit organisation that runs the Sydney Mardi Gras as well as number of other events throughout the year. Their general objective is to raise the visibility of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex communities through activities such as the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade and Fair Day.
